The patient is a 65 year old female and otherwise healthy. She was referred by a prosthodontist to replace missing teeth #26 (14) & #27 (15). An open sinus lift using the lateral window approach was performed, using Augma Bond Apatite® to augment the sinus. After an uneventful period of 5 months, a second CBCT was done to demonstrate the significant achievement of bone volume. Two implants were placed according to a surgical guide designed by the referring prosthodontist. The two osseointegrated implants were uncovered 4 months after the implant placement.
