This video shows how the radiographic appearance of the graft is opaque the day of the surgery, lucent two months post-op, and then back to opaque as the graft disappears and bone is regenerated.
The implant is placed 11 months after augmentation. At the time of implant placement there are no visibly remaining particles of Hydroxyapatite, and the implant is placed in the patient’s fully regenerated bone.
