Case Description
- Old, failing bridge in the area of #12 (7), #11(8) and #21(9)
- Movement and discomfort of the teeth supporting the bridge
- Suppuration and pain in the region of the superior incisors
- Gingivitis and periodontitis in the 2 bridge supporting teeth
- The patient could not bite with the front teeth
Treatment Plan:
- Removal of the old bridge
- Extraction of the 2 roots
- 2 immediate implants without surgical flap
- Tunneling of the soft tissue between the 2 sockets
- Bone grafting
- Immediate load with a temporary bridge
- Placement of the final bridge 5 months after surgery
