The patient is a 69-year-old female that does not have bone in the posterior region. She has a removable chrome cobalt prothesis that she cannot get used to. The patient does not want to remove her remaining teeth for an All-on-X solution.
The treatment plan is a bilateral sinus lift using sticky bone and Augma Bond Apatite® with an anaesthesiologist.
After one year the implants were inserted with a surgical guide and an anaesthesiologist.
It was decided to extract tooth #24 (12) as it had root canal treatment could possibly need further treatment due to its fragile state. An implant will be placed and included in the final Prosthodontics. Bond Apatite® was used in this phase to augment the keratinised tissue . Multi-units were inserted to rehabilitate these sectors with two monolithic bridges.
After seven months the case was finalized, taking a total of 19 months from the beginning to the end.
