The patient is a healthy, 65-year-old male.
The first symptom was pain in right maxilla. The bridge is taken out and an endodontic procedure is performed very well.
The inflammation is still present six months later, and so a root resection is performed in the area of tooth #15 (4). The inflammation is removed and confirmed with histopathological examination as chronic inflammation. The bone defect is filled with 1/2 cc Bond Apatite®.
5 years post-op, good remodelling of the bone and healing was observed.
