Case Description:
The patient is a 54-year-old female. She is a heavy smoker with severe periodontal disease and needs full upper and lower rehabilitation with dental implants.
Treatment Planning:
CBCT, intra and extra oral examinations were done, and it was decided to advance to six conventional implants in the maxilla. An All-on-5 was planned for the mandible.
The surgery was performed with an anaesthesiologist present, and with both jaws done in the same day.
The aim, depending on the healing process, was to have the Definite IBAR bridges in place in 10 months.
