Healthy 44 year old female presents with constant, moderate pain on endodontically treated tooth #30 (46). Three months following endo re-treatment of MB and ML canals, the pain persisted.
Treatment plan and procedure::
- Tooth #30 (46) was atraumatically extracted without any palatal or buccal flap.
- An immediate implant was placed with > 50 N/Cm torque.
- Following implant placement, Augma was placed around the implant with apical compression using gauze and finger pressure.
- A collagen plug was placed with sutures.
