The patient is a healthy 39 year old woman. The crown on tooth #16 (3) broke that day while biting bread. There was no way to rescue the tooth. She has pain and discomfort. Tooth #16 (3) was extracted without flap reflection and the defect was filled with 3D Bond™ 0.5 cc, and a collagen sponge. Bone regeneration was observed both clinically and in radiographic images 3 months post-op, and the ultrashort Bicon implant was placed (D-4.5mm, L -6.0mm). Final prosthetic restoration was done 4 months later with a full ceramic crown. In the next 12 months no inflammatory symptoms were observed.
